Yeah!!
I finally rounded most of y'alls up and dragged you into Elysium Fields with us Philosopherz! I am so excited we will be camping near you all Wet - n - Juicilicious folks (I know, I know, but WET - n - Juicy just sounds so good...). ..Though to be honest you all might NOT be so excited to have us as neighbors, we are laud, snore, inebriated, and prone stumbling into the wrong tent or camp. ***joke*** ***well, mainly*** We are doing a lot of of activities this year, it might be fun to coordinate collaborate a little, which is to say, I want to come to YOUR activities, but want to make sure I am not too cross scheduled. For more info on what The Philosopherz Stone is doing check out www.philosopherzstone.com and for more info on the Chill Spin SKillz Exchange Area check out our tribe tribes.tribe.net/chillspin .

So looking forward to camping next to you...

This is super exciting! We want to do a poetry salon at Bubble Camp too and, you're right, we don't want to conflict with others. I know the Ripe and Juicy Parade is Sat at 2 (probably til about 4). We're still working on the Chill Spin schedule but we need to start firming that up too. We're talking about making a sundial with activities on it so that everyone can know what happens when. it would be cool to make that happen.

Aten and I also talked about having a board up in our camp listing activities and such, so, people would know when and where to go to what! I was thinking a dry- erase board would be good, so, people could easily add to and take away as the wknd continues!

I totally have a big dry erase board. two smaller cork boards too. Actually there is prob, enough room on the board for us all to use it. especially since we are all directly next to eachother. I'll bring it to the Bday party sat.

          Brandon,

If you want to just bring it to Transformus that would be great (the dry erase board and markers.) That way, you don't have to load it twice.

          Prrrrfect!

That would be AWESOME, like a local TITS, a dry erase board of what we thought was interesting. BTW, to we have a name for "us," yet? I feel like us, being Rip Bubbly Philosopherz form some form of community. Perhaps we could just do Bohemians? As we all play in this group. Anyway, I would love to have a board to know what other Bohemians were doing or found particualrly intersting. I am bringing another white board for the Chill Skill Spin Area, but that is mainly just to post that schedule on in a public way.

I love all these ideas, and have to say...I am so hot for all of us! On another note, any info that is predetermined and can be typed out is great to laminate, and can be thumbtacked to a cork board quite nicely.

definately, we could even use it like inter office mail. post them in the camps for meet requests, event times, invitations, group what ever have ya like meals. let me know if you want them. if you laminate a bunch of white sheets we can use the dry erase markers. that would be pretty spiffy. Can you get the paper laminated? I have some thumb tacks

Lamination... it is expensive. We are looking at laminating philosophical quotes for around our camp, and found kinkos to be pricey. I went looking for laminating sleeves at Costo, thinking we could Iron them or something, and found an 80 sheet various size pack for $25, including a nine inch wide laminator! Which is to say , if anyone wants to pick up a few sheets from an office supply store and get them laminate at our house, we now have a laminator.

Thanks Pyrocelt and Brandon. I will check into the office supply store for prices on a few sheets of sleeves. I don't think we would need many. That's a great idea about the dry erase markers, too.

I am hungry for some pancakes! I might just boogie for food at some point.

I am a TEACHER. I can laminate anything for FREE (or at a small cost to NC taxpayers) -except the children because they squirm too much.

Tell me HOW MANY, what SIZE, COLOR and THICKNESS and I can get it done for you.

I would have to put the order in on Friday - so let me know if you want me to do this.
                      cheers

Thanks Junebug! The only thing I can really think of is the schedule for the Chill Skill schedule. Actually, maybe a clear, single laminated 8.5 x 11 map of Mysteria would be helpful. Do you have a copy? I can send it to your regular email addy if you want to send that to me privately, and by privately I don't mean with your genitals. Well, do what you must....

                        Size, Color, Thickness Oh My!!!

A map would be helpful. Perhaps even more than one to post around. We'd just need to pick them up at the end of the weekend. We could mark, "You Are Here" on them. I know that would help me.

I don't think I can have the whole skillz exchange schedule proposed by tomorrow. I'll try. We won't be able to change it if it doesn't work for some people though... I'll look at it now and see what I can figure out. Maybe we can make it work...

I don't feel a need to make you rush. It would be great to have info in to TITS, but rather than submitting info that would be changed, I think it would be better to do what you can, and spread the word once we are there. We could always give the TITS station on the stage a schedule when we get there that reflects more accurate windows of time. I am all about simplicity this year, so going with the flow is certainly okay in my book.

Thanks for grabbing the reins, Caroleeena! You have really inspired me to relax and to enjoy the process without unneeded stress.

                            Love you!

laminate a few plain white sheets for the cork board...if you all like the idea for writing msgs.

                          That's smart Brandon.

I have a sampe schedule for the skillz exchange. I just need to figure out how to post it so everyone can see it and then how to get their feedback to confirm the times. Anyone have any suggestions? I guess if I had to I could take a screenshot of the excel spread sheet and post it somewhere but it wouldn't allow people to update it themselves.

I will laminate a few plain sheets.

Also I will bring some -page sleeves- then we can have things like the Skills exchange and the Mysteria map in that without having to laminate it in advance and it will be water "resistant" if not water proof.
