Poi Workshop

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know that Cherie Haas (one of the hottest ladies I know) of Dante’s Gypsy Circus is going to have a poi workshop. I just wanted to take a survey to see what days you guys would like to attend. The workshop will take place outside at a local park around the Newport area I believe. Drummer available

I'm new to the Tribal dance scene, but I went to the Wulf Hafla at the Cincinnati Yoga School last weekend and it was awsome!! I'm trying to meet new people and find more opportunities to play drums for dancers. I have been playing hand drums and other percussion instruments for 18 years. So, if you know of anything going on, even if its just a casual get together and you want some drums there, then please give me a yell. My ultimate idea of a good time is playing drums for dancers around a fire under the stars.

Thank you so much for hosting such an awesome event! The studio looked great the way you had it all done up, the comic skits were totally fun, the lighting and stage crew did a great job, and you had a hot chick wandering around offering free jello shots! All your hard work was evident. All the performances were really original and there was a perfect mix of sassy and sexy throughout the night. I really hope you consider making Burlesque Bash an annual event...or semi-annual. ;o} Thanks for letting Booby Trap Love Stuff be a part of it all.

Totally bummed that the Rachel Brice workshops sold out? Disgusted by the cringe-worthy thought of the miles long waiting list? You don't have to sit on your couch all alone that weekend! There's something fun going on in Dayton that you might like to try!

Michelle L'amour from Chicago is coming back to teach a Burlesque workshop and give us a show with some of her dancers from her troupe: Star & Garter Burlesque!
Workshop is only open to women 18+ and you may be asked for your ID if you try to attend. If you are 18 or older, you may contact Kira for the Username and Password required to enter the page with all the details, but here are the basics:
WHEN: Saturday, March 31st
Workshop Time: 12:00 Noon - 4:00 pm...ish
$50 per person - women only 18+
Show Time: 7pm - 9pm
$15.00 per person - 18+ only, open to the public!

These workshops are tons of fun and very laid back, and the shows are sizzling hot! And a certain bunch of local tribal dancers will be performing a burlesque act under the name Booby Trap Love Stuff (it's a long drawn out inside joke). I don't think I ever introduced myself, but I'm Robyn with Anaya Gypsy. You guys did a great job at the show, and it was really fun hanging out with you in the dressing room. At the end of the night, Melanie said, "my favorite part is that they walked out with a 12 pack of beer." You guys were way fun. Luau- looking for performers July 29

I am not narrowing it down to just one type of dancing- so fire artists, caberet, tribal, polynesian, etc are welcome.
