I made it! I`m sitting in an internert cafe in Portela de sacavem with my Mom. Just showed her some pictures of all of my beautiful friends in California. She was very interested to see all of you. My mother says a big hello to all of you. I think I´m finally convincing her to come to California. I slept for 17 hours after arriving in Lisboa. We sat and had some dinner in a little cafe. This is where all of the locals around my mother´s age hang out. Lots of fifty year old men who had heard endless stories of me from my mother. They were all quite interested to meet me, I had become quite a legend to all of them. It was a very jolly time and I am so happy to be amongst so many Portuguese folks. There´s such a warmth in the way that people relate to each other that I didn´t even know how much I missed. Tomorrow I´m going downtown with her to the old city, I´ll post some photos and probably have much more to tell then.
