I received a wonderful gift certificate to Borders for my birthday, part of which I both the above book. It consists of three books: Interview With A Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, and Queen of the Damned. I have only seen the Interview movie, and I liked it, so I am already blasting through the book. It's fantastic!

General themes are:

business (I used to be in Marketing and PR)
home (gardening, improvement)
erotic (massage, how-to)
pulp (lots of paperbacks - adventure / sci fi / mystery)

Or if you've read them or want a review, I'd be happy to talk about them.

ok, so i got my books from back home, and have realized that i'm missing a few books that i desperately want to re-add to my library. of course, i know who has each of the ones i'm missing (had to puzzle it out or it would have driven me nuts), but it would cost them more to ship it to me from Maine than to buy new :)

If anyone has any of the following, i'll gladly list what we've got duplicates of or are willing to part with in order to trade for keeps. thanks in advance!

Mercedes Lackey:
Arrows of the Queen
Arrow's Fall
Magic's Pawn

Orson Scott Card:
Ender's Shadow
Shadow Puppets
Children of the Mind (have in hardcover; would like to have in mass-market paperback to match the rest of the series)

I know this makes me seem like a huge sci-fi and fantasy geek, but i swear, i'm not - these are the solitary authors of each of those genres that i actually read, which is why i hate to be missing books in their series :)

a teaser of available swap books - Calvin and Hobbes collections, John Grisham (paperback and hardcover depending on the title), and several titles from the *original* C.S. Lewis Chronicles of Narnia (from when The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was still book 1).

thanks again, if anyone's able to help out :)

Do you all already know about bookmooch? See www.bookmooch.com . It is a super cool way to trade books where you list books you don't want anymore and when other people 'mooch' them, you get a point, which you can then use to mooch a book from someone else.

They give you 0.1 point just for listing a book in your inventory, so if you list 10 books, you have a point available for mooching without having to wait for someone else to mooch from you first. You can read any text file or web page that has ISBN numbers on it and import them into your inventory or your wish list. And when any book on your wish list becomes available, you get an email letting you know.

Check it out! I have been having loads of fun with it. If you do join, you can find me by searching for 'smoorefu'.
