Well, I dunno about Boring Man (all those fruit cups, all those calories, had to skip this year), but I just moved into a new place, and there's a place down the street called the "Flu Cafe."
I had to go. It was pretty dull. Friday night. One couple in a corner sort of half-assedly making out... and me.
But it got me thinking.
Evidently, there's a flu season. So when is it? Isn't every season flu season?
Any tips on hand-washing? I wash my hands like a violin-maker, but what kind of soap is best? And what products to use during those moments where the sink isn't available? Should we have a tribe-wide "Wash your hands month?" But when?

Fri, October 2, 2009 - 1:21 PMThese are all good questions. I must ponder the answers for a while. -

Re: Flu Cafe
Sat, October 3, 2009 - 3:44 AMDo you think we should form a committee? That warrants a good ponder....in the meantime, I will advise that it is, perhaps, a very good idea to NOT touch anything unless it is absolutely unavoidable.......... -

Re: Flu Cafe
Sun, October 4, 2009 - 4:19 AMOh, correction: I just wandered down to that cafe again and realized it isn't called "Flu Cafe," but "Flu Garden." -

Re: Flu Cafe
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 11:20 AMThis makes it worse. Gardens can be worrisome enough without adding flu into it. Gardens can get weedy, induce allergies, contain pests, be under watered or over watered... the possibilities for problems are endless.
So much to think about.. a committee may be in order. -

Re: Flu Cafe
Mon, October 5, 2009 - 1:20 PMI volunteer to be secretary.
If approved, I would kindly ask all members to keep a running tally of the number of times they wash their hands each day and report here.
I'll start. Six times:
on waking up
on taking a shower
twice at work
at a cafe after work
once home again
