Marriage Help

Hi. This is regarding rather a... er... intimate personal problem.
I've started a tribe to promote same-gender marriage rights.
Marriage, in my opinion, should be boring, and I am trying to guage content on my tribe to reflect this reality.
However.
Due to a high number of evidently promiscuous gay individuals who do seem in earnest in their desire to promote equal human rights, the "Related tribes" section on the left of the tribe's main page is full of photos of frolicking naked men engaging in less than matrimonial behavior - often with more than one partner at a time.
You can help.
Please join my tribe and bring some dullness back where it belongs - to marriages, whether between people of different sexes or the same sex.
Hopefully, if enough dull people join, our collective interests will override the salacious photos now plagueing this tribe's main page.
Many thanks and best regards to all.

I joined your tribe. I think everyone should have a right to being miserable in marriage. Why should heterosexuals get all the boredom to themselves. Once the homosexuals get saddled with marriage, they'll stop their happy flamboyant ways and settle down.

Someday I hope to walk down the aisle toward blissful dullness and predictability.

A female as a best man is rather unusual, isn't it? I can be your best lady.

Great. Now all I need is a... how do you say?... venue.

I shall be joining.Believe me, having done the deed myself last October, a good marriage is a safely dull marriage.I think I now project this aura wherever I go, so I'm always happy to help in keeping the world a D&U place.

Thank you JM.The way I see it, why should the straights have a monopoly on all the tedious planning that a wedding entails? The great thing about all D&U activities is that anyone who is boring enough can do them if they use enough caution and don't get carried away. That is the trouble, many do get caught in the hoopla and spend way too much time and money creating a wedding that will never satisfy expectations-always better to keep it simply D&U. At my reception, I had to force myself to stay, since i really wanted to go up to the Bridal suite and read the 2 newspapers waiting for me there....

BTW, what a great idea. Maybe I'll provide newspapers as table centerpieces at the reception. Or even put them in the pews.

I attended a wedding on Sunday where the bride had had enough of the fuss, and midway through the reception put on a house dress. She also decided against the ceremonial cutting of the cake. Thus no photos, and no fear of cake smashing. We simply ate cake.

It was a white cake with strawberry filling. Tasty, but unremarkable.
