Hey there !!! My SK-5 has been bent and my rig is 100% mobile (for 2-3 hours at a time anyway). I'm really looking forward to the shimmering, beautiful cacaphony we will be creating.... In the interest of sharing I'd like to suggestion that we at some point make a minor detour and perform for the kids of Kidsville. The theme this year being "The Future" makes me really want to spark the imagination of tomorrows burners and decision makers. I'm gonna plan on doing it regardless but the more the merrier... we can discuss it more when we meet-up but I wanted to plant the seed now...

I would LOVE to play Kidsville, and mayeb even incorporate a sort of "here's how you can make all these weird ounds" kind of thing....
I know time is short but maybe, if we are seriosu about this, we should try to get a msg to Kisville befopre we hit the playa ?

Fri, August 18, 2006 - 11:52 PMI'm bringing my own young ones this year - my 15 year old MOOSE of a son (6'3" and good lookin'. Fuck, I'm scared) and my baby girl - age 11. I'm all over it. I have to admit, I'm nervous as hell which is why I backed the fuck off for a while. I want to do some spoken word - truly. I want to work with the BSD any way I can. It's been a long time since I've performed real art. I know our brothers and sisters will love and accept anything, but DAMN. The default world sure puts in it's hooks sometimes.
But yeah - bring on the noise. My young ones - check that - my young adults will be with me for whatever we do. Eos and I have prepared them as best we can, the playa will shape what happens next.
