Hi all,
The Boston University spin jam has moved to MIT for the summer (the building we used at BU is closed for the summer).
Monday nights come spin poi, hoop, staff, etc at MIT with us for FREE. It is 6pm-9pm. Rain or shine (we have an indoor space right next to an outdoor space - so we can use either depending on the weather). There is NO fire at this practice (even if we are outdoors). You can come late - it's all good.
We meet under the giant dome (which is building 10) at MIT. It's near the corner of Memorial Drive and Massachusetts Avenue (you can sometimes find free parking on Memorial Drive near the dome). It's a 5 minute walk from the Kendall/MIT red line T subway stop.
Here's the MIT map showing building 10 and the large area outside of it:

This one give you a view that includes the Kendall T stop in the upper left hand corner:

For reference, building 7 on Mass Ave is the main entrance with the columns and 32 is the Stata Center (the one that looks like its weathered an earthquake).

Re: Monday night hooping at MIT during the summer
Wed, September 24, 2008 - 8:17 PMHi all,
As it is now September, 2008, we are back at Boston University's Sargent Center on Commonwealth Avenue. It's a big gym and the practices run on Mondays from 6-8:30pm. See the BU Spin Jam tribe for more info.
Hoopers are always welcome!
Peace,
Michael
