I have a few small palm plants and they started developing black spots on their leaves. Now most of the affected leaves are turning brown and dying one by one. I really want to save these plants so any advice would be appreciated. I did use a bit to much miracle grow once or twice on them, could that have done this?

sounds like maybe a fungus from cold wet soil/ insufficient oxygen in the root zone.
can you post a photo?
