Hi. I am LaDonna Kumari. Sometime ago, I came into yoga and fell in love.
I fell in love with the feel of it and the peace of it. More than anything, I feel
strongly that it is important do all things possible to turn more people, especially
people of color onto yoga and any other martial arts with similar benefits.
I believe wholeheartedly in the notion that yoga is supposed to be about love
and sharing. If the mission is to spread this joy, then it should not matter
the color of the person who is eager to share it. But alas, it seems to.
I am hoping that in this forum, we will assist in helping to make each other
stronger by lending a positive thought, a gem of valuable information, and
expanding our overall knowledge. There are a lot of us, and more coming
up each day. I don't know about anyone else, but I want to know who they
are, if they are opening a studio that is hiring, or coming to my town to do
a workshop, or planning a video I might want to buy. I hope you see what
I'm saying. We are not going to get this information out of YogaJournal..yet!
