GET READY FOR SUMMER:
THREE FREE MEN’S YOGA CLASSES EACH WEEK

Thank you for forwarding this to men who might be interested, and for seeing if you might benefit from any of our new free men’s yoga classes:

* l. Men’s Core Strength Yoga, MONDAYS, 5:45-7:00 pm
As men age, stress, gravity, and neglect of the body conspire to cause us to collapse inward; we can close ourselves off to life. In this class you’ll learn to open from the inside out. You'll gently & powerfully stretch, tone, and strengthen your whole body, building muscle mass, strength & flexibility. Instructors: Charles Airey has taught & studied yoga for over 20 years; Eric Wallace has been practicing yoga intensively for over 2 years and just completed yoga teacher training.

* 2. Men's Wellness/Therapeutic Yoga, WEDNESDAYS, 6:30-8:30 pm;
Learn to use Yoga & Ayurveda to reach your wellness goals (getting stronger & more flexible, losing weight, becoming calmer & more focused, etc.) and/or to self-treat chronic ailments (like back/neck pain, insomnia, allergies, depression, HIV, digestive problems, etc). Taught by Bart Church, who has studied for more than 18 years (under certified Iyengar & Raja Yoga instructors) and taught for more than l0 years.
.
* 3. Men's Gentle/Restorative Yoga, THURSDAYS, 6:30-8:30 pm;
Paul Tucker, Ph.D., who has studied yoga for more than 30 years and been the senior yoga teacher at PSU and at Nike's World Headquarters for eight years, will help you use gentle, long stretches, simple breath practices, and restorative positions to: Better manage stress & its effects on your body; Re-energize your mind & body; Learn to relax deeply & easily; and find your natural flow - where the mind & body work together in more harmony.

DONATION & LOCATION: Your 1st class is always free, and after that you donate what you choose for the remaining classes in the semester (semester ends 6/22). Class is held in a beautiful studio overlooking the river and mountains in downtown NW Portland.
