....and oh. my. God. that place is beautiful...

There wasn't one thing I didn't love about it. EsPECially loved my hike up the Gorge trail, around through the Emerald Forest and down the Spotted Owl trail. It was raining and I was on my own in the middle of that vast forest -- what a blissful experience.

Also spent a lot of time meditating on the bench that sits on the bridge to community. That ended up being my favorite spot.

If anyone's ever considered it, I cannot recommend doing Service Week enough. (I think they happen in January, May and September.) The dynamic of working in service with others in that setting is amazing and it was wonderful getting to know the community members on a working level. I met some of the most beautiful people this week!
