Spiritual Responsibility

All right. First off lets just say that as a whole we as humans generally look to others (clergy) to be responsisble for our spiritual growth. Now I know that there are alot of us that do take our spiritual growth very seriously, but we are the oddballs. Humans often blame everyone and everything else, including Spirit, for their bad behavior. This is not going to be acceptable in the new age that is now upon us. The time has come for us to step up and out, and be the leaders that we can be, have waited all our lives to be, and, whether we think we are capable or not, need to be. As we begin to show the world how we take responsibility for our own spiritual growth, others will see us and, with any luck, theye might begin to do the same. Now, how do we do this? We begin by truly loving our neighbors, not just the ones that think like us. This may be one of the hardest things to do. We have been living in a world that encourages elitism, nationalism, racism, sexism, and just about any other "ism" you can think of,for so long that we don't really know how to break down these walls. We haven't been taught how to break them down. So, it is time to learn how. What we don't want to do is create more of it by "attacking" it head on, but rather start encouraging the opposite. Such as instead of protesting war. DEMONSTRATE PEACE!!! This will cause more of a stir than any protest. A protest by it's very nature is against something, a demonstration is neither for or against anything. To be against something gives power to it. To be for something empowers it. What do you wish to empower? A world of love, honesty, and peace? or a world that fights against itself? Love and Light, Grant
