live and direct from the broken bone crew

in mal pais (meaning bad country) on nequoa penninsula in costa rica
micha devlin and i anahata were in a bad 4 wheeler accident, we are healing up... so close to death... flew down a sharp rocky cliff of sorts 15 feet into a creek, the angels of soooo... many dimensions flew into us and protected us,,, once we landed in the creek both settling the spin i looked over and the 4 wheeler fell on top of micha, oh how much it hurt me to see him under it, my sweetest love friend buddy guy, so i turned into wonder woman pulled the 4 wheeler off of him, if i didn't well i won't say that which "could" have happened...i fell to the ground now out of shock and adrenaline, blood all over me, not knowing where it is coming from,,, friends rush down and the whole procedure of getting us out of the ravine on surfboards and straps and saline and PAIN!!! 8 hrs to get to hospital, ambulance, taxi's plane and more ambulances, laying the whole time on these really hard wood boards, thought we broke our backs, so much pain, got to the hospital and got x rays, micha has a broken collar bone and 8 broken ribs ..we are all bruised up but not as bad as we should be!!!!!! , i have a big gash that got 14 stitches on my third eye, now i really look like el dia de los muertos, no need for make up , puffy bruised eyes too, HOT! :) i have some broken ribs 4 or 5 not sure , which hurt like hell and make it really hard to breathe and move around.. we had so much love and so much sweet care and healing energy from all of our friends, so amazing the way that the community pulled together and helped themselves and grew by helping us... pheobe , leighton and jocylyn are here in san jose costa rica helping us out at alexi and genna's house (they are very sweet funny and loving real people, glad to know thenm now), then tommy and scotty are here now and we are going to move to a rental house for a week, so sweet and so supportive this "tribe" is... growing and learning how to work together in real life situations... micha and i feel blessed to be the vehicles for the community to check in and get deeper,,, micha and i are new people, we like movies and pain killers now,, ha! that won't last long though!
i love you so much i hold you so close to my heart and am so grateful for the love and depth we have as friends and mere passings by here and there,,,
i am still going to hawaii i think, mabey micha will come to heal up in the sun and salt water.. we will see,thank you all for your support you are all unimaginably gorgeous and giggly, thank you for tickling us with your sweet love... when we are better we will have so much more to give because of the places that we have gone in this week... we look forward to seeing you, and are presently so grateful for life and everything really.. this journey is astounding, deep and clearly revealing !!!! Ok so apologies if I offended anyone with the profanity...(I do know some peeps don't like it n stuff:).

Due to something coming up that I need to handle. I will not be in LA until the end of January. I have passed the torch to Gwen she has the info...not sure if she will do the auction or will want a volunteer to head it up other than her but just wanted to keep you all in the loop.

My guess is that Gwen will talk about it after the new year.

Silent Auction to begin after the new year!

I head out early minana for a visit up North in the Puget Sound with my family for nine days. As mentioned I will be computerless. After some discussion instead of replacing myself and doing the auction while I'm gone we've decidded that the the auction will officially start after the new year since many people will probably travel for christmas and new years and so we can all enjoy the holiday. So we'll start back up when I get home...aftter the new year...

Thank you all who have donated so far and I apologize for not getting your super rad stuff an opportunity to shine sooner and to have the feeding frenzy begin!

so here we are, things are going much better more healing every day...

i got to hear micha play guitar for the first time today, which is a wonderful thing, as you all know...

so the latest plan is to get them back to the bay area on friday night...

so pray for a safe return for us and all of your prayers have been thus far successful and have been felt on the mountain top we are staying on...appropriatly called witch mtn...escazu, costa rica....

thanks sooooo much for all of you guys bein in the ether...is hasn't been easy, i don't speak spanish, but i do speak love!!!

we will be organizing a party for fundraising and fun having for when they return, which is unknown at this point - they need to to heal before they can get on planes home...

Ok. So heres how it all starts....tribe me PRIVATELY with what you are going to donate.

I need to know a few peices of info....

A description of what you are donating...ex. 1 hour deep tissue massage...make it sound really good whatever it is that you are donating
your normal rate for such a service...and suggested starting bid price...(maybe a little lower than normal...or whatever you feel called)
...also what area you live in San Fran, NY, LA etc.

Cool. Cool.

I will be M.I.A. starting Wed. morning so I need you to get in contact with me ASAP.

But I have some SERIOUS love and respect for these people.
I will be singing at the Sol Ball on Saturday in Portland. I will dedicate half of my earings to Micha and Anahata. I wish I could contribute more.
This is what I can do. So if you come to the Sol Ball, pick up a CD and I promise half of it will go to our friends.
It is a great thing to be called a friend. I wish you both love and recovery!

the broken bone gang is well on their path to recovery -

first off, we just arrived late last night - smooth flight - and locating them was easier than finding the doctor's office!!

micha went in for more consultations today - he found 4 more broken ribs to add to the list, which is now:
- 9 broken ribs
- broken collarbone
- pinched nerve...
HE IS SMILING AND TRYING TO HEAL AS BEST AS HE CAN

Anahata has a sweet little half moon cut on her third eye, which is stitched up nicely
an unknown amount of broken ribs and is having alittle difficulty breathing...we took a walk today down the driveway through the garden and talked alot - she is greatful to all of you for being so wonderfully supportive!!!

so - we will be setting up an account to send funds to, and we will be throwing a few parties to pay for all the costs, including hospitals flight rentals of houses and a repair on the quad that they took out....

again, i appreciate all your support and they can feel it down here in this beautiful land...
their doctor is wonderful, i met him today and he is on it...

we will return home with them as soon as they are ready, will keep everyone posted - so far so good...

Silent Auction.

I'd be happy to head up a silent auction or help someone with it. We've raised thousands of dollars for our camp at the burn this way. Its super fun and easy.

I will be heading to WA early Wed. morning and then will be computerless for a week. HOORAY!!! So either someone can take the reigns from me at that time and I'll set up the ground work before I leave. Getting donaters etc.

Major credit cards travelling medical insurace.

Do either carry any major credit cards. Amex, Visa, Mastercard....???

Sometimes their is travel protection one signs up for at a very minimal cost or possibily already included as part of using a major name...their are often many benefits to credit cards that consumers don't know.

Anyhow, I would suggest checking this out or at least asking Micha and Anahata.

First info about accident.....

For those of you who don't already know....
this is a blog from Tommy regarding Micha and Anahata's accident:

micha d and anahata need our help:

they have gotten in an accident - they will be ok, but are in alot of pain:

micha has some broken ribs and a broken collarbone
anahat has broken ribs and a bad cut on her face - a plastic surgeon was called in

so - here is the deal: me and skotty are going to bring them money and love
i will bring them all of your prayers in this little special box that i have for emergencies

they will feel you all and your love for them when i get there - i have to see my babies!!

we will try to suss it all out and bring them home for some family love and proper care

there has been a call out for donations toward their bills and recovery - think about if you an spare some change for the most lovliest warriors ever made - we have it taken care of for now, but will need to recoup some of it and you understand

so feel free to pray for them - they will be ok - and they will heal

i fortunate to be a part of a community that really cares for eachother - i think we all share this feeling in common - so all you healers start putting your concoctions together and start oming to the stars and all will return with health and love and beauty
