I went to forever 21 today, because I have plans to go out tonight and I needed something new to wear. It was perfect, I found a cute and trendy top for the bargan price of 16.80...now I have something cute to wear and even if I never wear it again, I'm sure I will have a memorable night (maybe because of it). Do other people "shope for events" (and not galas or first date kind of events...just drinks with close friends), or is it just me???

Thu, September 1, 2005 - 4:04 PMI'm not much of a fashion diva since the stores in humboldt county suck for anything fun to wear. Mostly crap and not much to choose from. However I am still somehow a shopping whore and I love to go out looking for fun new clothes to go out dancing in. mostly fun tanks that are kinda outrageous. But again not much to choose from. -

Fri, September 2, 2005 - 9:02 AMdefinitely! sometimes i just look at my closet, and i know that i have nothing that will fit that evening's atmosphere (and i'm talking like going to play pool). when your clothes have all been around for a while, it feels good even for meaningless events to get something that no one has ever seen you in before. of course, it is nice when i do get to wear it again, but a lot of times i just buy something at of this desperation for something new and then it only gets used a couple of times after before I give it away to my mom or friends. -

Fri, September 2, 2005 - 6:49 PMI usually end up buying a few extra things too because they were either cheap or cute at the time. Meaning I would never really actually wear it. So then it just sits in the closet with the tags on and never gets worn.
