Adam Baer, a santa cruz based artist , will be putting a near-life sized Whale Skeleton sculpture deep playa this upcoming burn. It will be composed of 5 gallon buckets(spine),cut up fiberglass water tank (ribs) and the head/flippers/tail will be a combination of plywood/cardboard/fiberglass . Most all of the materials have or will be salvage and recycled in accordance with the eco-groovy theme this year.
This post is an appeal to anyone interested to participating in any phase of its construction/transport/setup/breakdown. What is needed right now is steel pipe(wrist width&larger),plywood scrap,cardboard,fiberglass cloth and bolts of any size.
