Grindlebone is finally getting ready to purchase land for it's community/arts space. One of the things we're planning is a bi-yearly small to medium burn and other festival events on what (we hope) will be a 7-10 acre festival site, including fire artt, demonstration, performance, and camping spaces, and we'd love your advice before we get in and actually start building stuff. What things would you like to see in a smallish regional faire site? What things haven't worked for you?
Do us a great favor, if you will. Pop over to www.grindlebone.org, get a bit of flavor of just what kind of weirdos we are, and then come back and give us some advice on how to build your dream event site and how we can integrate that into our communtiy.

Re: Grindlebone getting ready to get its own site
Fri, April 27, 2007 - 6:00 AMThe WHERE is the problem. We're looking currently at sites in NJ, NY, Penn, MO and Nova Scotia. Most of Grindlebone--the people I mean--are in Baltimore and Philadelphia, though we've got folks in Paris, London, Boulder, and currently aboard a ship off the California coast. We need a home, and need to figure out what we need in terms of local and in terms of assets on the land itself.
So Suggestions :)? We really really really want people's input, ideas, and concepts.
