I went to havasu. it wasnt as good as i would think. there were signs everywhere that if there was any indecent exposure you would go straight to jail. they should have taken all the senior citizens to jail because their nasty cottage cheese bodies were a bigger eyesore.

I have never been to Havasu. I have been told that its not as great as everyone thinks it will be. I am sorry about your unplesant experience. One time I went to a lake in Az, I am not sure which one. I came back with a rather nasty scar on my leg from it. Not happy times. I think you are right about the senior cit thing, they should stay in Sun City.

Re: spring break
Thu, March 27, 2008 - 2:33 PMI think spring break is over rated...usually you hype up your plans then they never life up to your expectations. About the old people and their cottage cheese bodies, at least you didn't see your over weight father going through a mid-life crisis wearing a Speedo; father in Speedo way worse that cottage cheese bodies.

Hah ya Matthew I had a couple buddies that went there and said it was terrible. Our fraternity goes there once a year and we have a blast but the police patrol there is outragous. My buddy is serving two days in jail for the most ridiculous drinking incidint.

Thu, March 27, 2008 - 2:36 PMSeniors are really scary, theyre like aliens, grotesquely different from the rest of us with their strange addiction to pink flamingos and really long sochs. I have a good friend who wants to die before she's old, thats how scared of old people she is. I've never been to lake Havasu, but now I really don't think I want to. Thanks for the 'cottage cheese' heads up.

Amen to that man! Those old folk always let it all hang out and it makes my stomach curdle. Havasu is way overrated, it was good a couple years ago but usually it just leads to sunburns and hangovers (for me atleast). I spent my spring break working, yay.

Re: spring break
Thu, March 27, 2008 - 2:40 PMYea, cottege cheese is wrong, and that is very true. At least you had fun in Havasu, with some young people. My spring break was in West Palm Beach Florida, where I was the only person under 60 years old, on top of that I missed my girlfriend who was on a yacht in Cali. Good topic though, experience is key.

Re: spring break
Thu, March 27, 2008 - 2:46 PMNo matter where you travel to, it varys very little. Travel halfway arround the globe to florida, the largest elder per square mile, or go home to your parents, where they act like the largest almost elder per square foot. Either way spring break equals missery in the long run. Only thing that makes it "almost" great, is the large amount of lowered inabissions that come out of a fiesta of alcohol.

Sounds like fun. I went back home to MN, and hung out with a ton of friends, and my family. It was relaxing, which is what I needed before the year ends with finals. Also had my visit to Mall of America, of course. =)

Good idea! If they're in prison, they won't be wasting our Social Security money!

Havasu is completly out of control, the last time I went to havasu of my buddies got arrested and came back high. If coming directly back from the drunk tank stoned isn't funny, I don't know what is.

Yeesh :/
My spring break was nice and laid back. Spent the week with my girlfriend back home, got my wisdom teeth removed, and washed my car. It was nice being able to just lay around.

Re: spring break
Thu, April 3, 2008 - 3:11 PMThanks for all the replies. i understand that some share the same view as me and that is great. because of the fact that most people i am writing this for are students in my class and can understand where i am coming from. Every college student looks forward to a great spring break filled with alcohol, nudity, and memories for a lifetime. When your expectations are shortened or not up to par with what you wanted to happen, then spring break loses its appeal. The only thing that could make it better is to make the next one more memorable. im glad everyone agrees that cottage cheese bodies should not be shown off. but when i reach that age, i am pretty sure if i am dumpy looking i will not be showing off what i should not be. in conclusion, thats for all the supportive replies and i am glad that my views are particularly shared with many of you.
