Hillary's already been dubbed "Bitch." I loved Tina Fey's piece.
What about Barak Obama? Bunny, snake or bitch?

Re: Hillary and Barak
Wed, February 27, 2008 - 9:20 AMI'd put him squarely in the bunny court. Because of how his followers multiply exponentially.....

Thu, February 28, 2008 - 10:35 AMAlso, he's all about unity, which is a very bunny principle.
I love that he's both black and from a "blue state", and on top of that, that HE is the one talking about overcoming these divisions. -

Re: Hillary and Barak
Thu, February 28, 2008 - 10:36 AMI love him. Usually I don't vote, but if I were to vote and if I were US-American, I'd vote for Barack.

Fri, February 29, 2008 - 11:40 AMDoes it mean to say that Obama supporters are cattle?
I wouldn't feel offended if I were Texan. I'd just leave TX as far as I could--just like I left RJ. These days I don't mind a bit making evil jokes about cariocas, actually most of the times I begin them. :D -

Re: Hillary and Barack
Sat, March 1, 2008 - 5:55 AMYep. And apparently us Hill supporters are a bunch of clucking old hens.
I don't see the humor, I guess. But... then the ad isn't targeted to me.

Re: Hillary and Barack
Wed, March 5, 2008 - 2:24 AMThe more I read and see and listen about the primaries, the more I become an adept of "anybody but Hillary". I'm hating that her gang is hysterical enough to paint a fellow democrat like the devil. Come to think of it, she's so selfish, arrogant and reckless in her vanity and ambition that she doesn't even realise she's strengthening the Republicans with all the cheap propaganda!
It's either that the US really suck or the Southern European prejudice is getting to me. -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
It's brutal here
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 6:56 AMa by-product of having too few parties.

Re: It's brutal here
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 7:39 AMToo much parties, like in Brazil for instance, means one strong, cohesive right and a scattered left. No good in practical terms. At least not for us. -
-
Re: It's brutal here
Thu, March 6, 2008 - 7:57 AMThe problem with having only twp parties is...
We marry these weird factions together. Like fiscal conservatives with religious fanatics. Or unions workers with the liberal elite. It makes for an ugly primary season. And we never know if we'll kiss and make up in time to heal wounds.

Tue, March 18, 2008 - 9:48 AMmuch monies have been spent... with no results...
should we spend more and more... and even more

Re: It's brutal here
Wed, March 26, 2008 - 2:41 AMTwo alternative parties will come out strong this season. Nader has taken on Matt Gonzalez (green party brains) as a VP. That is a smart move! Also, one of the Dem. presidential hopefuls has defected and is supporting the Green Party. That would be Mike Gravel.
Green party is gaining steam for 2008! Bodes well for the future of liberal/progressive policy in the US. also bodes well for the Dems, who are currently hobbled by the radical left wing of their party.
2008 will see a Republican prez. So... get out there and vote down ticket to make sure Dems retain house and senate powers. A Dem congress with McCain at the helm is likely to be very productive on many fronts!
