hi grrls,
here's a topic for discussion...
do you like or dislike the bunny logo Avril designed?
opposing views are:
it's sexy, sassy, and cute vs.
unempowered, cliche, and unfeminist.
I'd like to hear your opinions to help me decide whether it should appear as our logo in the corner of the poster for the Feb. show.

Re: who likes/dislikes the logo?
Mon, December 26, 2005 - 6:54 PMhey, i always liked it. sassy and cute come to mind for sure, you have to remember that the kind of confidence it takes to bare all for a crowd is empowering in itself, the logo has to be all about fun!

Re: who likes/dislikes the logo?
Tue, January 3, 2006 - 11:05 PMOf course we've discussed this before, but I think the stance of the women on the logo connotes subservience and I feel like a rocking and rowdy troupe of empowered burlesque dancing queens hardly fits with an image of female submission or standard playboy stripper stance.
Are we bending to the powers that be or rocking them in their fucking faces? What does our logo say about our sexualities?
My thoughts...
