Hi there! In searching around the different burn-related tribes tonight (between sewing projects and packing), I found this tribe! How lovely to find a bunch of people gathered to have a memorable (and remembered) burn. Thank you for forming this tribe!
I'm headed to my sixth burn in 4 days! I'm working with the Temple of Light project from Seattle. It's a memorial temple for the victims of a shooting that happened here in March. It stood at Seattle Center for a month, we took it down yesterday, and we're bringing it to the playa this year! Look for it out by the 'big temple' in deep playa.
I'm not *sober*, I enjoy a drink or two, but never drunk, and don't do anything else. I have sought for years, the people who enjoy Burning Man because it's wonderful, not just because it's a big party.
I'm at a point of many new beginnings in my life, and am filled with hope and fear about it. ;) perfect for 2006!
I'm glad to know y'all are out here, and out there, and I'm setting my intention this year to find some of you. Thanks for the extra burst of hope.

Sun, August 20, 2006 - 8:40 AMThanks for your efforts with the Temple of light. I'm so glad it will be going to the playa as I didn't have a chance to see it in Seattle. I live in Bellingham and actually helped raise a small contribution towards the temple construction.
Good to know too that there are more of that will be out there with intentions far beyond intoxication.
