What do you tell your old burner friends?

I used to do copious ammounts of partying for several years on the playa with drugs and alcochol being the main component in my fun times. I am now in a place where while I may occasionally partake in the comfort of my own home it's more spiritual than a "party" and RARELY.

Last year (the first year I tried to do it different) I experienced this lame thing where whenever I saw someone I knew within 2-3 minutes they were asking me if I had any drugs, knew where to get any drugs, what the hot new drug on the playa was, etc. I would put them off by saying I didn't bring any drugs with me to BM, but they assumed I knew where they were or something.

Any ideas on how to relate to people like this, other than just walking away when they 'don't get it' ?

A simple "I'm not into that anymore" should suffice. If not, a "Please respect my decision and look elsewhere" or "STOP FUCKING BOTHERING ME ALREADY" might be more in order.

I'm sure Miss Manners would agree.

p.s. know where I can get some drugs? (kidding, kidding)

I assume drugs are bought in a drug store?

But it's a strange place since when in the drug store and I go to the bathroom, there never is a bath in the room, nor (as sometimes it's call a restroom) do I believe I ever want to rest in there either!

    Hi Jen
Just tell them the truth, that seems to work just fine for me. If people want drugs or want you to do drugs and you aren't partaking say that. " I haven't got any and I don't want any thanks. Don't worry about pleasing people. xxxbarbarella
