I am curious to see if there's anyone in Santa Cruz?
Tell me I am not the only sober and drug free person who likes to party?
I am trying to make it to BM but not sure, still I am curious!
Thanks!

Re: Anyone in Santa Cruz?
Tue, July 10, 2007 - 1:07 AMI'm a non-drinking non-using buner who lives in Santa Cruz county. I'm not currently in touch with the younger folks in recovery, but I remember some AA dances years ago that were great parties, full of energy. I suspect that there are still quite a few such events.
And there are a lot more sober burners than one would initially imagine. Many of us don't stand out because we hang out in very mixed groups and do a lot of silly things.
Good luck!

Re: Anyone in Santa Cruz?
Tue, July 10, 2007 - 10:13 PMOh thanks for giving me some hope here!
I actually don't mind people who drink and do drugs as long as it's easy and cool, but of course mostly I wouldn't mind hanging out with sober/drug free pleople like me.
Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone in Santa Cruz?
Wed, July 11, 2007 - 11:17 AMThere is a Santa Cruz Burners tribe. You could also check there.
Most of the people I knew in Santa Cruz have moved (including me), but Rodent knows pretty much everybody in town.

Re: Anyone in Santa Cruz?
Wed, August 1, 2007 - 7:44 AMHowdy,
I'm in Santa Cruz. My 4th burn and camp in Anonymous Village. We are located at Estuary and 6:00 and have plenty of space for clean and sober camping. We have several meetings a day and fun social activities.
Hope to see you.
