Why is this tribe so small?

...and the Psytrance and psychedellic and MAPS and Ecstasy tribes are so huge? Why are those of us who can alter our own states of consciousness without the help of a pill considered "boring" and "not cool"? Isn't the psychedellic swirling dust-covered madness of Burning Man enough? I think drugs are total overkill on the Playa...eggregious and unnecessary. It's trippy enough on its own.

    I like your perspective. It's really good to know that drugs are not a necessity on the playa.

    probably the same reason the Monogamay tribe is so lifeless while the polyamory tribe is huge and busy.

        Wait, I'm monogamous and Burn Clean. I'm sure there are lots of us were just not driven to talk about it all the time. Maybe we are comfortable with how we are therfore we don't feel the need to talk about it?

        Who knows. Maybe we can ask the "Thoroughly enjoys breathing" tribe and the "Suffocation" tribe their thoughts.

        Just meaning that that people of that tribe and this one are possibly less inclined to have sensationalist issues or heated debates to carry on in long threads. I am by no means claiming one is better than the other.

          I agree, there's always less discussion/debate in doing "fewer" things..... fewer drugs, screwing fewer people, loving fewer people, and, obviously...breathing less. Har har.

            Hmm so just how do we start and equally riviting conversation? Every good story needs conflict, that or something really wierd and obscure. Luckally we have burningman. :)

            I'll be breathing MORE air. I quit smoking.

            So yeah. Monogamous, don't much enjoy sex with 'just anyone', only the occasional cocktail, drugs aren't for me, and really haven't YET been to Burning Man. I ask myself why I'm still getting asked out... ??? : )

              There are far fewer burners than the population at-large, and I'm not interested in succumbing to dull, majority culture either.

              Quality, not quantity!

              I'm always thankful to find one cool person at a time :)

                although crafty vixens tribe is full of passion , mainly abou thier cool projects. Craft clean.
