TRANSDRIVER - (AntiShanti Records, Russia) LIVE

No other act in the past few years has arrived in NYC and absolutely turned our vision of quality sound to a new realm. Transdriver is one of few projects of the Russian trance scene who is famous for its rich and high-quality live acts. Every live is a real show with absolutely spontaneous turn of affairs, full of improvisation and live sounds. The Project appeared in 1995 in Moscow, when the Russian trance stage was on the first step of itsí development. At first the project belonged to Alexey Kovalev, but soon Vassili Markelov joined. Their music developed from hard-core and break-beat, and trance from 1996. The music progressed with the progress of the technical equipment and soon reached the professional level. From 2000, Alexey went solo as transdriver and released an incredible double album, while vassili went his own way with the psykovsky project. Do not miss this opportunity to hear the unique transdriver sound!

PARUS - (AntiShanti Records/ AuraQuake, U.S.A.) LIVE

PARUS is a psychedelic trance music project of twin brothers Mark and Valentin Tarasov that was born in the summer of 2000. This is their storyÖ While growing up in Riga, the capital city of Latvia, Valentin Tarasov was attending musical school, learning piano, Mark was learning guitar. After the break-up of the Soviet Union, they moved to California, where in 1996 together with their older brother Eugene they formed a Russian rock band called Still Night, with Valentin on the keyboard and Mark playing the bass guitar. Soon after, they were introduced to trance music and the idea of Parus was born. It began with turntables in a Palo Alto apartment, evolving into a semi-professional studio in the garage of their house. By September of 2000, they were writing their own tracks as project Parus took sail.Parus has performed on numerous stages in America, Portugal and Japan, including the amazing performances at the Boom Festival in Portugal, Burning Man Festival and the annual LoveFest in San Francisco. There is also a rumor that their debut album is coming on AuraQuake soon

PRISHVIN MESS - (AntiShanti Records/NYC) LIVE

Prishvin Mess is the project of Sergey Boroditskiy, formerly of Muktisvara, and Eli Burmin, a bass freak. The evolution of this project began back in Russia with many years of musical education. Their electronic sound has come about as an evolution of interests and an exploration of the mind. Recently, the project has adopted a symbiosis of sounds, adding the soulful sound of the violin to provide a new dimension to the flight that is PrishvinMess.
The project is based in NYC, with the high energy of the city projected into the musical landscape. The mission of the project is to free the spirit within the body and release it into a flight with no boundaries. The music combines high intensity with strong positive peaks. It's not easily defined, and it is our mission not to categorize it, as the freedom of the sound is the essence of the project. Prishvin Mess use technological sound to free the human within us. While synths and modulators are the tools, the goal is true free expression.

P R O G R E S S - (AntiShanti Records/NYC) LIVE

Yuriy Vaskevich is a discoverer of musical dreamscapes. The music he creates is both organic and electronic. It falls into the abyss between sentience and fantasy. Yuriy's background provides a landscape for his music to flourish. He hails from Kiev, Ukraine where he grew up with a strong foundation in classical music, with proficiency in both piano and guitar. Yuriy's journey to the USA brought him into a different world of New York punk rock. From these foundations Yuriy explored his musical identity and starting in the late 1990s began to experiment with various styles of electronic music. From here PROGRESS was born ranging in style from psytrance, ambient, and chillout, to full fledged avant-garde and experimental. PROGRESS has composed several film scores as well as performing live in a wide variety of venues
throughout New York and beyond...

On Playa memorials for Caleb Schaber

How to remember Caleb Schaber this year at the burn? Playa time being what it is, pick the one you can fit in to your schedule or that helps you to say goodbye:

• Bring a “found item” like a piece of wood that he might have painted on to add to the on-playa Outsider Art sculpture that we are creating. If you have one of Caleb’s paintings, photocopy and bring that to put on the sculpture. Bring that email that haunts you still. Heck, Caleb once created a piece of art from a pizza box! There will be basic tools to assist and some paints to apply your note – bring burnables only please. It is your sculpture of your memories of Caleb and we will burn it after the memorial on Thursday evening. Check at the ARTERY for placement location.

• Make an origami crane with the assistance of the crew at Rue Morgue (9:00 plaza) early in the week to place either on the sculpture or in the coffin that Rue Morgue puts in the Temple each year. Write your goodbye to Caleb on the crane. This is a drop-in anytime activity.

• Meet on Monday evening at 6PM at the Black Rock Beacon on Evolution Rd @ 5:30, to help us swarm the city's porta potties. We have created a Mental Health survivors Guide to the Playa and printed 500 on sticky labels for the porta potties. In Caleb's memory, let's help those who are suffering to have a safe burn!

• Eat breakfast on Wednesday morning at 8AM and until the food runs out at Toon Town Disco. We’re hosting the Breakfast of Mental Health Champions. We are going to be sooooo politically incorrect as to knock mental health stigma out of our society’s lexicon on Caleb’s behalf. There will be good food to fortify us, heck, Rhino is even bringing GRITS! I’m crazy; you’re crazy too, come dance with me at the disco!

• Memorial at Rue Morgue, 9:00 plaza at 6PM on Thursday followed by the burning of the sculpture once the sun sets. Bring your own “shooter” glass, tequila might be involved. Heck, bring some tequila so there's lots.

• Visit the Temple and leave your memories there. A poster has been created with some photos of Caleb. His name is on the Memorial Burner Plaque. One page in the book of memories in the center of the Temple is for Caleb – read about his life. Add your notes nearby.

• Attend Temple Burn this year, watch the coffin full of cranes enter the Temple and remember that crazy email Caleb sent you and let it all go as the Temple goes up in flames.

• If none of these fit your schedule or your personal connection to Caleb, crack open a PBR and drink to his memory. Don’t be surprised if there’s one less PBR in your cooler – his spirit will be there all around us hopping from camp to camp looking for a brew and deep, spirited conversation. When he shows up at your camp, love him or curse him for leaving us all behind to carry on without his crazy, wild, genius.

What is the next Burning Man.

If Burning Man is over (which I don't think it is) what is the Next Big Thing that'll capture the heart of the counter culture in SF and elsewhere?

That just triggered another thought in my head... is the counter culture in the bay area what really died? And the changes to Burning Man are just a symptom of that death?

Linking honda 2000i generators

Just tested out a project where we linked 4 honda 2000i generators. We weren't sure if it was going to work but for those wondering, it does. We made a virtual 8000 watt generator that will power our whole camp. It also appears that we will be able to expand it well into the future to cover our camp needs. Not sure if anyone else is interested in this info but I thought I would share anyway. Here are photos of our project:

http://gallery.me.com/idahomojo#100263

Remember your limiting factor is the extension cord that carries the power. We use 100 feet of 6 gauge that runs to a construction site style distribution box. We actually should only put 6000 watts through that cord but we hope the occasional spike in the system won't melt the whole system down. We also installed a TED Energy Detective to monitor our use to make sure we stay within rated capacities. We also built long run fuel systems using outboard motor tanks so we never have to pour fuel all week. If anyone needs details, drop me a line. If I am the only one who has ever wondered about this that is cool also. I like the level of redundancy in the system. - GB

Cruelty Of Masses (aka, Deb's lynching.)

It is with great sadness that I read Deb's "Enough, Already" thread on the main Burning Main tribe.

The rumors and threats, and cruel words of Caleb's friends dishonor him and his memory. I'm sure he would be horrified if he knew how you were treating a woman who treated Caleb pretty damn well. Regardless of his exact feelings towards her Caleb was a grown man capable of making his own decisions of who to associate with. He had made the choice to spend with her, and no, it does not follow that he did that to punish her by planning in advance offing himself in front of this woman.

Let's say for a moment that that is the truth. The TRUTH that you insist on being the ONLY TRUTH. What a foul and despicable man you've made out Caleb to be. What a TERRIBLE and DISGUSTING distorted MONSTER you have turned him into with your "TRUTH." Rather than just telling her she did not want him around, or avoiding situatoins where she would be present, he instead allows himself to be interwined himself in this woman's life even more just so that he can kill himself in front of her, undoubtedly scarring her emotionally for life. WHAT A TERRIBLE FUCKING THING TO CLAIM OF A DEAD MAN. If that is the "truth" you are spreading than ALL OF YOU have turned Shooter into a MONSTER. A DESPICABLE PIECE OF SHIT WHO I AM GLAD IS DEAD.

But... I choose not to believe that is the truth, and in fact it seems out of character for the man I'd gotten to know via Tribe and his works. I choose instead to believe that Caleb was a kind person, a good person, that he was traumatized by his experiences in Afghanistan, and that that trauma caused him to unravel. His pain was so great he took his own life in a spontaneous moment of personal clarity. This good natured man found himself unable to cope and in a spontaneous moment took a gun he knew he had nearby, and pulled the trigger.

[Deb please stop reading here if you are reading this]

You think Deb murdered him? You don't think the blood splatter reports by the investigating officers could tell exactly where Deb was in the room, and the exact direction the weapon was fired in, and the distance from which it was fired? My god, not only are you people monsters, you are stupid. I suppose the two go hand in hand actually.

The fact that this lynching is coming from the Burner community is what is really shocking to me. Not that it should, lynching is human nature, and we have a bunch of stupid, yokels caught in a small town rumor mill here. Could we ask for a better environment for a lynching?

I have enough shame for all of you, don't bother telling me you don't have any. I know you don't, you're too fucking stupid and small.

Your worthless prediction on the effect of a shrinking BM population.

What is your worthless (yet entertaining to ponder) prediction of the effect on Burning Man of a shrunken population.

I'm going to guess that this year will be more like 2005 or 2004. The recession having weeded out many who don't see Burning Man as a vital chance for self expression.

When I was employed I thought last year was my last year. Then I became unemployed and I realized I needed Burning Man. I needed it because I needed that fantastic world away from the default world. I need to be rejuvenated. In order to go again though I would have to transform myself. I would have to shed my former skin and become something new and different.

I've got a job again now. But I got a job that is going to give me the flexibility I need to make this transformation.

I've been thinking... what if we as a community came together to purchase, build, and decorate a beautiful themed space open to the community. It could be in a city, or somewhere rural... but something legal, beautiful, and open to the public that allows for the public to enhance the decorations with their own touch.

No. I mean it. Jerks. All of you.

You see. This year I am not going to Burning Man. I'm sad. So. Sad. I have plenty of perfectly excellent reasons not to go. I have the mind set to handle not being there. But I keep on getting flashes of the things I love the most. I'd like to talk about them now;

The long hard road trip. Getting to the salt flats the first day. Waking up to a sea of bright white. Eating gas station food. Buying stupid shit like key chains and hats. Admiring the cities and the nature. Screaming about the price of gas. Finding others en rout with their masking tape BM logos ... secretly trying to beat them there.

Getting there.

Waiting in line.

Hugging the greaters. LOOKING at the sticker. Swearing to use the WHAT WHERE WHEN this time.

Morning around the camp fire. Any camp fire.

Finding your bar unattended.

Being cared for by people who recognize the obvious signs of dehydration. All your fine, generous, silly gifts. Rangers.

Massive live open hot fires.

Porta potties.

That Indian guy that made me dinner that one time. My sister. My friends. My jackals.

So anyway. Please have lots of fun.

I was driving on the 5, and I kept having these flashes where I suddenly felt like I was in my car on the way to the playa. It all started when I was driving next to this car w/ BRC And Burning Man bumper stickers. Suddenly I had that excited butterfly in the stomach feeling I get while waiting in line to get through the ticket gates. Then I was driving behind an airstream... and it felt like I was on the road on the way to the playa...

The whole way home... little flashes of that intense anticipation...

And I haven't even bought my ticket for this year.

I wonder how the burn is going to be different. I have to go... I think this might be the year where everything changes, and something regress.

Poverty of the soul

sa,

I'm not in the main tribe so I can't respond in there, so instead I'll reply here.

I'm sure if you were an tribal villager living in Africa, South America, or India/Asia you would look at the life of a guy named sa and say "he has experienced so much! Yet he is poorer than I am when it comes to his own self perception and soul."

I know that by just having been to Burning Man I've experienced something only a very very small percentage of people on this planet have experienced. I was enriched by that experience, and of the years I've been there have been moments that I felt I had reached a pinnacle of human evolution.

Then I return home and resume the life I had before, in effect devolving. My soul is still empty because it was not truly changed by the amazing experiences I had.

We don't yet live in a world where we could function day to day like we do at Burning Man. It isn't sustainable....

Yet we long for it. A week of perfection in our year.

Over the years we've seen many people come through the Burning Man tribe that were arguably crazy. I often wonder if their crazy behaviors are evident in real life, or only on the internet. Sometimes the purity of thought that flows into a forum without the facade of real life interactions can be pretty telling.

Over the years we've had several suicides, with Shooter and Sunshine being the two most recent. I somewhat wonder if there is a correlation between attending Burning Man and increased risk for committing suicide...

Surfing man, listen UP! You need to get on your board, long about July 4th, perhaps 2010 . . .

Tenzin, Sr., the D.L.'s late Daddy let the CIA into Tibet, while the Kuomintang let them into Taipei, to fly B-24 Liberators around, over China, heard of it?

So D.L. cannot have his country back, and sorry about that stampede all over North Korea and South Korea, which ended in stalemate, but look how many anti-valuable Catholic creeps in the USA have CEO gigs!

The US and UK started WWI with a secret treaty. The UK invaded Palestine, 1882, while the US went for Hawaii, 1893, to incite the treaty-orgy in Europe. The Poles, Germans, Armenians, and Russians ate the most death.

The English-speaking world started killing Asians, Africans, and Arabs in large numbers, when the British started WWII, by bombing the intifada, caused by the Irgun's illegal takeover of Palestine.

When the BIG WAVE reaches you, bend over, and KISS YOUR ASS GOODBYE!!

Splatterheads, learn to swim, but really, learn more water polo in traffic, or head out into the Gulf, like Marquis Cooper, who was just another suicide, trying to show you backwater Obama McTrash how Winston Churchill was really only a half-American bastard, no better at statesmanship or sailing in an impending shit-storm, than is arch-bastard, the idiotic NEWT GINGRICH.

An MTV comic premise was produced, for Rahm Emanuel to bang his brother Ari and produce Steve-O with tatoos and one on the right cheek, for BUTTOCK HEINIKEN O'BUMBUM, for Ari to bonk Hillary and produce Wee Man, for Mike E. to clone Johnny Knoxville, and for us to take it to the bank on a BMX, about Bam's nose looking like Obama's.

The next President will be named JOE, with Mika's Daddy Zbig's NOSE, biding time to SLEEPER-outcomes, when Obama's head looks like BEETLEJUICE.

Thanks to Sean Crappity, the sub-100 IQs are a mob, with a voice, at riot, unrestrained. Thanks to Obama, the next President will be named JOE, not Scarborough, he will have Zbiggy's nose, and this will go down by 2012. So who reports NEWS, with MATERIAL FACTS? Nobody.

NEXT! Maddow is under Olbermann's wing, so she has no issues to report, which will actually damage the Beck-Hannity-O'Reilly-FOX nuisance, since Windows was ripped and MSNBC is the corporate criminal bastard, of that seditious piracy.

We face a certain tsunami from La Palma in the Canary Islands. We may face others, generated from the Atlantic Trench or the Marianas Trench, with REAL, effective terror attacks, not simply warnings to desist at flipping depleted uranium shooting galleries, while threatening nuclear holocaust, and calling it, 'NUKULER.'

Learn English from someone competent, or shut up. YOU ARE GOING SURFING, or worse, you are a slave to Obama's geeks from private schools, which let in stupid idiots, from families with money, or worse, they let in crack-heads like BARACK OBAMA, who sell out to special interest media, years before they get elected.

See how Obama caused cops to start shooting young black men, when he stalled the appointment of Senator Roland Burris, to incite OPD casualties?

Waterboard MONTY PYTHON, see Carol goofing as Mrs.John the Baptist, in a trench. Jews are from Ethiopia, tardies!

The Atlantic and Pacific trenches can be configured and blasted, selectively, to keep washing our coasts, with terrible tsunamis. The Statue of Liberty will get washed; Bartholdi the sculptor knew it would catch a wave, from La Palma, at least.

And then, lying whore Pelosi came out, pretending she didn't know back to 2002, waterboarding was TORTURE, in progress!

WE ARE UNDER THE GUN. Dick Van Dyke spoofed the next Mr.Target, during JFK.

What is anybody named Tenzin's excuse, for ignoring the little hero dogs, in STAR WARS? Get game, regardez-mois, Llamas! 360.yahoo/bobgnote

None of us have heard from Deb (most likely because she has been accused of a crime and is not wanting to incriminate herself) about the laptop.

I want to say that I think the big tribe's membership is being truly unbelievably cruel to her. The gossip about how much Caleb hated her. The accusations that he killed himself to get away from her. Why say it out loud in a public forum? To what end? True or not, some things never need to be said. Why do I feel I'm watching a small town getting the witch burning pyre ready?

As somebody else pointed out in the big tribe thread Deb's already going to have to live with the replay of that final moment for the rest of her life. No crime, trespass, or annoyance she may have committed against Caleb is worthy or that punishment.

Scrumfrog set at Deep End Camp 2008

I downloaded this set today from the deep end's website. It's really great. He takes a lot of classic music to make a pretty awesome mix customized for the final days of Deep End. He even manages to get Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" guitar in samples in there.

You can download almost every set from 2008's 5 days they were spinning here: http://www.thedeependcamp.com/music/line_up_2008.htm

Scrumfrog was the last DJ on Thursday.

I'm curious to see if the city map is going back to previous year configurations, something new, or staying with last years not-so-great configuration.

This tribe has no moderator, apparently by design of the Great One. We as adults must follow the basic rules of community living in this tribe: respect, understanding, tolerance, and tuning out.

Of course, those are the rules of community living, not of this tribe. If you don't want to follow any of those four that is on you, but don't expect respect in return.

Denied entry... again... to the Burning Man big tribe

So I've been denied entry again to the big Burning Man tribe. After nearly two months on tribe I'm still not meeting whatever weird criteria they have. Maybe this tribe can draw people in who are in a similar situation. Just because that tribe has 20k members doesn't mean it has 20k active members. It's probably closer to 50 active members, with 100-200 lurkers, and the active membership is going to drop as people come and go and they continue to not allow entry.

BURNING MAN LIVE (Piss Clear Mag)

Do you all know about Piss Clear, the Burner magazine, that was around for 13 years? It’s been called “the Vice Magazine of the playa” – sharp and funny with an alternative view of Black Rock City. I found out that RE/Search Publications has published BURNING MAN LIVE, which has the best of all 13 years (1994-2007), including “Best of Black Rock City,” “Sex and Drugs,” “Playa Fashion Do’s and Don’ts,” “You Know You’re a Burner When…” “Borg Wars,” interviews with Larry Harvey (Burning Man cofounder) and Harley DuBois (Director of Community Services), and introductions by Brian Doherty, Adrian Roberts, and Malderor. This book is 320 pages, and HUGE (8.5 by 11 inches) of pure Burning Man history– highly recommended – with really great articles and photos.

Just go to the link below to check out the book or make an order:

http://www.researchpubs.com/Blog/?page_id=13&product_id=74

Anyway, it's an amazing book and I suggest you all check it out, if interested.

NOTE: I found this message from another BM I'm a part of. I ordered the book -- loved it, talked to the woman who is spreading the word -- and now I'm spreading the word, too. This reminds me of the old BM days, as well as the more recent. It's great fun!

hello friends,

I'm planning to go to Burning man (Black Rock Desert, Nevada) this year. ;-)

I'm a new newbie to BM and looking for some tips/groups/friends and would like to rent an RV.

My friend Marcia is going to join me and we are very interested in renting the RV. We are looking for 2 more responsible and mature BM participants who would like to share the RV cost.

Any tips/recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks for reading.
Much love,

WickerMan 2009
Set-up May 15-17, The Burn May 21-25

WickerMan brings together Burn Culture, the Art of Giving and
Ecological Responsibility in a festival that depends on the Radical
Self-Expression of each individual. Based on the tenets of Burning Man
of the Black Rock Desert, we actively incorporate their founding
principles- Communal Participation, Decommodification, Radical
Inclusion and Radical Self-Reliance. In essence, at WickerMan, Radical
Self-Expression Meets Radical Earth Spirit.

We convene to celebrate what we as individuals offer to the community,
through Art, Gifting and Self-Reliant Participation. Together we
commune within the land to build and burn the biggest Man east of the
Mississippi River. Individual participation is what makes this event
happen, we depend on each other for content and execution. Every
contribution, from Volunteering to Art Creation is essential to
facilitate this WickerMan. What do you bring to the table?

Art, in its many mysterious ways, is at the core of this event.
WickerMan offers over $6000 in Art Grants to fund a variety of

Female vs Male sexuality.

When I was taking psychology courses at University the topic of sexual identity and physiological differences between males and females was often discussed. One of the major differences in male and female sexuality is the multiple orgasm. Neurologically when a male has an orgasm he goes into a "refractory period" where the neurons have to uptake/create more neurotransmitters to make another orgasm possible. Women on the other hand do not have this refractory period. I haven't ever seen a study to confirm this, but I have always suspected that women do not have a refractory period because they do not have orgasms of the same intensity as men. The reason I think this is because refractory periods are caused when a nuerotransmitter is depleted and must be restored, neurotranmitters are responsible for sensations, if there is no refractory period than less neurotransmitters must have been used, OR women have MORE of the neurotransmitter available to start with in which case they just don't "run out" like men do.

Handjobs for Artist!

Borg2 was great and all but could something be done to more effective?
I guess maybe I’m old school radical expressive, but my friends and I are always thinking and talking about ways to get more people, who are not already artist to contribute more art to Burning Man , even if it means getting a little dirty.

We have created the project known as:

HANDJOBS FOR ARTIST!

You see, It seems that less than 1% of population at Burning Man, make registered art every year.

In 2007 the population (official) was 47,097 people.
300 registered art projects 30 funded by Bman
ratio of art to people = 1 to 156.99
.63 % of participants at burningman produce registered art.

That’s less than 1 %.
There was 8108 more people = 17 % increase in people but only a 13% increase in registered art.

It fact, we would have needed 470 registered works of art to represent just 1 % of Burningman.
if in 2008 @ 50,000 people, we would need 500 registered artworks to represent just 1% of the population.

So that is our goal. 500 registered art projects.

We know a lot of artist never register their work and art can mean so many different things to as many different people, but we felt like 1% is way too low not to address it in specific. Since we can’t make the bureaucracy go away, we thought we could make it a little more worth the wild.

They way it works is like this.

We will provide sexual handjobs, with complementary lube, with a happy ending for any legal aged 18+ consensual MEN and WOMEN who can, make , create, or cause a reasonably identifiable* work of art for Burning Man 2008.

Any awarded artist may also opt to have a HUG, HANDSHAKE and/or a SINCERE THANKYOU in lew of a sexual act.

* identifiable work of art is, in this case, is defined as art that meets a TWO FOLD CRITERIA:
CREATIVE EXPRESSION

All projects must also be registered with the Artery. You must also submit your project to us for review ahead of time so we can co-ordinate a on -playa site inspection and arrange a prize claim.

We, of course reserve the right to refuse anywork of art, any artist for any reason we deem fit.

So other common questions are as follows.

Only the conceptual original artist are eligible for the prize grant. Helpers, assistants and co-producers are not considered for the grant.

There is no super prize for any “best” artwork.

The particular persons providing the handjob, hug, handshake or thank you, is not negotiable. Prize providers will be clothed.

The safety and heath of all persons involved are at utmost priority.

The particulars about the prize redemption is negotiated individually with each artist. There is no themecamp, prize tent or designated forum for prizes.

No entries will be considered at the event as everything must be co-coordinated before hand.

The project is not about sex, but about art.

Having said that, we hope to have sore hands by weeks end and that may everyone on tribe get some love for an exchange of your creative expressive selves. There is nothing more valuable to us than to artistic presence. Don't be shy, give it a shot. You might find the handjob was the least of the reward for giving Black Rock City your art.

We hope this project will boost not only support of our art community, but we also hope to raise awareness of growing sexual assault problems inherent in our beautiful temporary metropolis.

Please have a visit to our friends at

http://www.bureauoferoticdiscourse.org/

Best to all!
IPJ

advice on RVs

2009 will be my first BM and I'm looking to make it as comfy as possible, so I'm willing to shell out for rental of a trailer. Does any one have any recommendations on most economical and reliable sources of RV travel trailer rentals? Any other/related advice? I'll be coming in from New Orleans, so I figure it would be better to find a place that might place the trailer for me or nearby I can hitch it. I'm open to other ideas as well. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello to all you beautiful souls,

Just wanted to pass along some info that there is a new healing and retreat center in the Amazon of Peru offering traditional ayahuasca ceremonies along with other healing modalities for an intensive journey of self awakening. The prices are very affordable, keeping it real for the people. Many of the co-creators of Tierra Vida are Burners that hosted the Ayahuasca Camp last year at 7:30 & D. It is a beautiful place to go deep within oneself and further the process of self empowerment. All are welcome with open arms!
check it out: www.tierravidahealing.com

Eternal blessings!

So, I deleted my account a month ago for a few reasons. The primary reason was that I was a personal one regarding somebody on here who I value dearly and felt that my actions were hurting. The second reason was that there was no way for me to get out of the moderation slot on the tribe w/o deleting the account. I had asked them to assign it to somebody else but they wouldn't do it. The third reason was that Tribe.net shouldn't have a role in my life where it's elevated to the point that I have emotional reactions... and I was having one.

So presto-chango-deleto!

Anyway, it's interesting to see that the new mods have been in place for less than 24 hours and already they are having their faces punched in by shooter and Adam. Maybe because there are three of them they can commiserate and cope with it better. I felt absoultely alone and isolated.

I give them my condolences. Something that was probably a lot of fun for them at one time won't be any fun for them anymore.

I, I mean WE, are doing the Penguin Plunge on City Island in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to benefit the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area. Now when I say WE I mean PATCHOULI and I. That's right folks, Patchouli has stepped up to plate to help out all those homeless cats and dogs. I almost feel like it's the Pound back home at PDF. We help out the strays at PDF and now we are asking you to help out the strays that can't help themselves. Please, please, please take some time and check out our fundraising pages and donate some money if you are able. Someone please help out Patchouli; she has some major catching up to do. She hasn't even broke $100.00 what ever will she do without her free towel to dry off with?
