    <summary type="html">We will be bringing one of these (3 meter sibley) to the playa this year (our virgin year).  It has one festival under it's belt and we love it. &#xD;
while all the normal tents were flapping in the wind our Sibley was rock solid.  We plan to be under a layer or two of shade possibly in a coral of RVs and keep the walls shut.  I plan to report back on it's success after the burn.</summary>

    <summary type="html">A good idea for that is to use the old sectional fiberglass poles from your old tent to hold the aluminet above the new.  Just join then secure them in a bow over the canvas tent.  Throw the aluminet over that and secure.  Cleanest way I've seen it.&#xD;

I bungeed 3' wood dowels with plastic bowls on the ends (or golf balls would work), to the outside framework of the Spingbar, that raises the aluminet up a couple feet for cross wind ventilation...     <summary type="html">I bought a piece of Aluminet shade cloth and draped it over my Springbar tent, and it definitely helped keep things cool.  (Cover the roof pole ends with tennis balls to prevent them from poking through the shade cover.)  The full height of the Springbar tent and screened window ventilation also really helped with heat dissipation.  That said, it was still nice to have a portable mist generator and a fan for those lazy mid-afternoon cat-naps...</summary>

    <summary type="html">You are going to love your Springbar, I just spent 5 days in mine at Flipside. A big blow with torrential rain and I didn't even get a drip inside the tent, everything was dry dry. The only dust I got last year was what I tracked in.</summary>

My Dad motorhomed to the Salton Sea, so I know he could have taken the heat and dust, and he would have dug the engineering of the sculputes and the man.  &#xD;
&#xD;
My Mom would have hated the lack of control and people's freedom to walk away from a scene that held no interest nor promise of delight.&#xD;
&#xD;
One brother had a great time, the other thought of dust and allergies and discomfort and took a permanent pass.</summary>

    <summary type="html">I just bit the bullet and bought a Springbar Vagabond 4 and I can't wait for it to arrive.  Yes it was expensive compared to a department store nylon tent, but I figure it will be much more affordable in the long run.  It is definitely cheaper than renting or buying a RV, so I still feel like I got a deal.  I will have access to my parents RV (yes they go to burning man) as the "main house"  on the playa, but I think it will be a great "bedroom" for me.</summary>
