contact lenses on the playa?

anyone have any suggestions for contact lens wearers on the playa? this will be my first year and I don't see or perceive so well without my contact lenses. I have prescription sunglasses for the day but what do blind people like me do to keep the eyes clean and seeing? thanks!

I wear the daily ones on the playa. No mess of fuss. Could be me but never had a problem with dust as well. Bring goggles and funny shades for the day.

I have very sensitive eyes and I deal with wearing contacts every year out there. I just use the clear lens of my goggles for night time. Sometimes that helps just wearing them when Im riding my bike, even if its not a dust storm. It helps with the wind. Also, it sweats up the eyes a bit, which makes the contacts more lubricated. Contacts + goggles with clear and smokey lenses + extra saline = your good to go!

I wore contacts all the time last year on Playa...had no probs until Burn Night when i think i got a bit of ash in my eye and had to go back to camp and take them out...word of advice ...definately wear goggs or some form of protection on Burn night...there is sooo much ash etc swirling in the air...and as most contact lense wearers know...it is a world of pain when ya get a foreign object under ya lense...lesson learnt on my part...heehee
