Wed, September 5, 2007 - 3:54 PMYeah ... this year, I took the day after off ... and now, here I am, sitting at work. It has been the slowest, most painful kickstart back into the default world.
I think I would have been better with the entire week off.
Note to self: Quit job before leaving for the playa. Or, just don't return to work after the event. Perhaps I'll still get a paycheck. -

Wed, September 5, 2007 - 10:00 PMI did the same thing (took Tuesday off)... I'm thinking next year, take Tuesday AND Wednesday off.... Thursday and Friday are just enough time to catch up on the days missed, but short enough that it's not so bad... and people may still think you're not in the office yet
Especially since this year I got a pretty bad cold... one more day to recover would have been nice.

Fri, September 7, 2007 - 6:29 AMIt seems there was a couple of years there where I went straight to work, and I dont even remember what happened those days, I have record I clocked in, I just "wasnt there". I was just in zombie mode, I guess its kind of like taking the day off, I just happened to got paid! -
