Yes! My love and i are getting married on the playa this year and we are searching for officiants. We are going to have a bit of an alternative (obviously!) ceremony. While we do not claim to be of one particular sect or religion, we are deeply spiritual and draw from the teachings of many different religions as the basis of our spirituality. What we are looking for is to have a short ceremony in which our marriage is blessed by representatives from many differant religions. ***NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT LEGALITIES*** Because my fiance's child will not be at Burning Man we are having a very short (and legal) ceremony before we leave with just the three of us. We felt that it is important enough for her child to be a part of this that we have a ceremony just for her (and it will get the legal stuff out of the way). So..... what i'm saying is that it doesn't matter if you can "legally" marry someone or not, if you would like to be a part of this ceremony and bestow blessings on our union, we would feel honored. Your contribution doesn't have to fit into the mold of some idea we have in our heads of how it should go. We would like for this to be a collaberation.
