I once met a drag queen by that name, but that's another story.

Have you ever had a burned bridge too far? I mean really, really, really burned?

    I once had the miraculous return of a friendship I thought I had completely annihalated. I don't tempt fate anymore, at least not like that.

      interesting question.

      I have had several people push me to my limit and I had to draw line, but in letting the friendship go, it went deeper to the next level after the breach was resolved.



      i have a basically forgiving nature, which seems to work in my favor.

        I remember reading a news article once of a man who purchased a lottery ticket and upon hearing the winning numbers, misread his ticket and believed that he had won. He was so happy he ran into his bosses office and told him to "Take this Job and Shove It!"

        Of course after showing the ticket to his wife, she confirmed for him that he had, in fact, not won the lottery.

        The man returned to work the next day to ask for his job back to which his boss replied,

        "I'm sorry but that job has already been shoved".

          hahahaa, sorry but that boss is funny! most are so dry and dumb witted.
          I try burn bridges either,at least job wise..I could get my job back at 99% of past employers.
          Friends, I would say no to this also, as most I have to part ways from, I explaine to that said friend why, and that with time and healing I might be back. For true enemies, as most are friends because ya dont get that close to your enemy to begin with. For those, its basically a case of dont go away mad...just go away!
