I'd order any glow or lights you'll need 4-6 weeks before you'll be leaving. that gives you plenty of time for lost packages or returns. :) they last a relatively long time if you don't crack them and you keep them out of the light. I have some I bought a few years ago. kept them in a dark tube or dark bag. you should be safe buying them anytime within 6 months of when you plan to use them.

The basic regular ones I have are outstanding. I have had bad luck with the ones with skulls on them. They throw off the sensor some how and don't blink constantly. If you remove the skull part they work fine but are blue and not green like they are with the skull on. They are like 7.99 for 2 at Target and Wallly World.
