  • Hey all your freak'en crazy folks. Last night was totally wild. For those that missed it, we were invited to the fire pit by the folks that rented the small shelter and they were doing a Hawian theme. They saw us spinning and ask for us to share the fire. Not only did that top it off but several members brought drums. The pit was burning, spinners were dancing with fire, glow poi were mesmerizing, and the drumming was intoxicating. It was awsome to be spinning on one side of the pit and look over at the rock wall and see everyone sitting and swaying to the drums. Cant even begin to explain the feeling. To all those that showed and helped out, well that was a once in a lifetime feeling last night. Energy was so interlocked and flowing. We even picked up some new folks at BBQ and fire pit. I guess one of the things that sticks in my mind about last night is a little girl we gave practice poi to. She saw the spinners and went to her dad and said I want to do that also....hehehe Next generation is starting. Several glow sticks were attached to her poi so she could join in. Gotta love it.There arent enough words to describe such a night. You people are soooo special, I am so happy to have found such a warm, loving, family style group. Cant wait till next week.
