  There are solar ipod chargers, and we will probably have a fair amount of sun.
  
  You could buy a car charger for it and schlepp out to your car whenever you need a recharge.

    Or you can get a converter to plug into your car's cigarette lighter that lets you plug in most regular electric cords.
