It would be fun, entertaining and interesting to have a cool, hip, cosmic-connection type of astrology show, talking about the planetary movements for the week ahead.
I'd be into doing it, but first I'd have to figure out how to record myself and turn it into ... what kind of file would you need??? Anyway, I think it's be a cool idea.

Tue, March 11, 2008 - 10:30 AMIt's pretty easy to do actually, all you need is an audio editing program (many of which are free) and a decent microphone. We'd prefer to have files sent to us as mp3's What kind of computer are you on pc or mac? Once I know I can send you more info.
I should of course ask if you are talking about doing something on BMIR on the playa, or on the web on ShoutingFire? I'm assuming on Shouting Fire.
The best thing to do is get one show completed and send it to us. If it's something we agree should run, we'll want a commitment from you. Are you thinking a weekly show, monthly, every two weeks?

I'm on a PC. I have Audacity. I have very little experience with audio stuff (having been a visual girl all my life), but I"m sure I can quickly learn. Yes it would be for Shouting Fire. But also, don't expect it quickly yet... I have a lot of other movement in my life at the moment... and I guess it would be a twice monthly show (new moon and full moon). Let me see if I can find a partner who is into doing it too, it would be more fun as a group project.
And what I'm envisioning is just like "the planets are doing this over the next few weeks, here's what it means." ANd not so much a "if you're a capricorn, blah blah blah. If you're an Aries, blah blah blah."
Anyway, I'm planting a seed here. If anyone else who's already got audio experience wants to get it on and do an astro show, that would be way cool. I'm not attached to ME doing it. Just spread the word. :)

Take your time, find the right people to work with and send us a cd or mp3 when you're ready!
