Anyone leaving from the South Bay have room to carry a little extra stuff?

We went to the 2007 Burn, and my daughter is going to this year's (I can't, unfortunately). We don't drive. She has a ride up for herself, but the people she's riding with have no room for her bike, water, or duffel. We live in Palo Alto: anybody near us got a couple extrra cubic feet of room in their vehicle?
