I am writing to let you know that some members of our community bought some fraudulent ticket to Transformus from someone using the email aphemix@gmail.com
I am trying to work out the details now, but it appears that he posted an ad on our classifieds and was emailed by 6 people (that we can tell right now) that ended up purchasing over $1300 worth in total of fake invite codes. He is based in the Pennsylvania area, which is why I am posting this in your group.
I spent a long while yesterday tracking down all the information I could on this scammer and will gladly pass this info along in private, for legal purposes, to anyone that need it. As far as Transformus, LLC, there isn't much legal action we can take since it was not a Transformus sale that took place, but I urge everyone that got got sold fake invites to alert your local authorities and also take action into finding more information about him.
Please contact Jace or Vespa if you have any further questions jace at transformus.com | Also if you are a event organizer or ANYONE that would like the info I have gathered on this individual, please hit me up....and if you happen to know this person personally, I would love to talk more with him about you.
This is what I will post publicly:
he uses the email debivo63@yahoo.com for transactions and paypal payments, we just found out in thye past few minutes that this is in fact his mom's email
his chat nickname on AOL is aphemix
his email in my system is aphemix@gmail.com
His listing on the transformus site has the name Shane
his ip address when he signed up was 76.124.44.94
he is located in Lancaster / Columbia Pennsylvania
the paypal account is DebiVO63@yahoo.com and says the name is Debi Violante, which is his mom
One more note, if you have bought or sold invites, even if you know they are real, please email jace at transformus.com and inform him of this transfer so we have a record of it
UPDATE: I have been in touch with the scammer and he has paid all but 2 people back after the threat of legal action. If anyone else has been taken by this sad individual, please contact Jace!
Sorry for this everyone, wish there weren't people like this in the world.

---------------
I got caught because one of the dudes in charge started catching on as people would receive their fake tickets and try to verify them. A lot of these people I guess didn't know what to do after buying their tickets, and wanted to get in touch with somebody to make sure they'd still work and whatnot. After a while, even though I was covering my tracks a little bit, guy finally figured out I was selling bunk ass tickets. I probably could've gotten away with it if I'd stopped early, but I was selfish and tried to pay like every possible living expense I had by doing it.
then he set up communication between all parties involved, and presto, I was fucked. He, himself, tried to bait me into selling more fake tickets, and succeeded. He sent me an email yesterday morning telling me all this, and telling me that, as a result, all parties involved would be calling the police in my area and filing interstate wiring fraud charges against me. Something about his participation also entitled him to file corporate wiring fraud charges against me somehow, on behalf of the company hosting the event, and he claimed to be doing that, as well. So I ran around all day yesterday trying to appease all these people, paying everybody back.
I already spent a fair bit of the money, too. I was incapable of paying everyone back. Two of them I talked to, and actually convinced I would pay later. I did this by being honest about how silly I felt that I'd done this in the first place, and building their confidence. I also lucked out, because the people I decided to reimburse were the only people the head guy knew about. There are more people I still owe money to, right this minute, who are not in contact with anyone about any of this, and who will most likely remain that way. Shit is ridiculous.
