Okay, I'm a video nerd, but too much of a dork to know how to get any of my videos online. Where do I start?

Tue, December 5, 2006 - 10:56 AMWell, I think the easiest place is on YouTube (www.youtube.com). It's pretty easy to upload videos there in .mpg format. The only caveat is that unless you have a director account, they can only be 10 minutes or less in length and under 100MB. I applied for a Director account (which is still free), because then you can upload videos longer than 10 mins. But the stupid thing about THAT, is they STILL need to be under 100MB. So I had to compress the shit out mine & it ended up looking a little crappy. But I could live with it. If I knew how to set up my own website, I'd probably embedd my videos there, cause then they'd look really sharp.

Tue, December 5, 2006 - 3:22 PMI would love to be able (in the near future) to make some space available on my website to host BM videos. I am already hosting our tribes videos (the other post). So if I can find a simple way to make it happen, I will....
Any ideas to simplify the process would be greatly appreciated.
