This Cali girl is thinking outside the box and considering a big move to Iowa to finish school. As a student of both health and sustainability I have found a school that I am looking at where I could get a degree in both. This school seems to be amazing, the only problem-- the weather in Iowa. Also I know this school is very unconventional, sounds perfect, right? Does anyone know anything about MIM in Fairfield? Hows the town? Anyway I have alot to do before then and I am actually looking at next fall as I have to save some money and take care of a bunch of s&*( before I move. I will be going out in August to check it out and would love to hook up with some burner types while I am there. BTW how is the community all the way out there, I know that it is a fair distance from the playa but I have been amazed at the places people travel from to go to our little event...

I moved back to Iowa from SF and love it. There is a deep community here and very open - basically one big community if you live in Iowa. About 10 people that are citizens of BRC with many more going soon. Around 80 or so go to the regional Interfuse every year. We travel ALOT to neighbouring cities, mainly Chicago and Kansas City but have lots of get togethers. Nothing huge but we have fun :) Really just a fledgling community so there is great opportunity to help it grow and spread so be awesome to have more burners!

They are some of the warmest-hearted, most real people that I have the honor and pleasure of knowing. I'm honored to have served with Jeffz as an Interranger. He rocks. He knows how to have fun, and the Iowans police their camp well.
And the I could tell you of my brother by another mother Blitz. He is one reason I attended Interfuse again this year. This man means what he says, and does it. Interfuse was less than two weeks ago, and I already miss him.
Thanks to all the Iowa burners for coming to Interfuse. We look forward to seeing you all next year.
