I did not land a translation bid and now would like to secure a meeting as not to be the perpetual faceless newcomer. It is worth it as the company will be handing out contracts for years in a very promising field.
How can I do that and what should I bring and prepare for the meeting?
How could I put it so that they will want to meet me?

Look professional, have a professional website and have a beautiful marketing package to send to them previous to meeting them.
In it, make sure - amongst lots of other stuff that describes what you can do for them - that your bonifides are very, very well laid out with examples of your past work.
