Yeah. . .we know they're special, and so do they!
I've had two other all-black cats in my decades of cat loving, but this one's unique.
I've had my newest addition a week today and she's lovely! Her name is "Dara" for "star" and she's about 8 weeks old, long and lanky, with a loo-o-oong tail with a little upturn at the end, very fine silky coat, blue-green eyes, and a *distinctly* triangular face with slightly taller-than-average ears. Can't vouch for tail and coat texture, but all of Dara's littermates had that kind of face and ears. Her mother was a registered Chocolate Point, and by her picture, either an Applehead or a Classic Modern (not an Extreme Wedge.) Whatever else the father was, he was an indiscretion. . .The result of their tryst was five little female black kittens, and I've got Dara!!!
I would like to hear from any of you black cat people out there whose cats are half Siamese. Did your cats develop the Siamese "baby crying" voice? What about wool-sucking, intelligence, leash-walking, famed doglike devotion, leaping on your back (Dara does that now if I'm close to her level!) and guardian-growling in the window at passers-by and arriving visitors? In short, how much of a "Siamese" did your kitty become?
Check the album, because I'll be posting pictures from time to time.
