    Which is interesting too in that most shelters will not adopt black kitties during this month or just prior to October.

      Isn't it sad that the shelter has to do that to protect them.

        I know, it is sad, but yet at the same time, it is better for the blackies in the long run. You are right every month is black cat month. Every year for like the last five or six years I buy the Black Cats calendar. I will cry if they ever stop making that calendar :-)
