I just wondered if anyone has ever used this stuf on their cat? Someone recommended i use it for my big move to macon for transporting the cat. I've never given her any kind of sedative so i just wanted to make sure it was safe.

Sun, April 1, 2007 - 3:44 AMHow are you transporting? By car or plane? If by car, consider no sedative at all. The first time I drove across country with Mina, I gave her a sedative and she fought against it, it made her so uncomfortable and she yowled and struggled. It was awful. The second day we didn't give it to her, and she complained the first hour or so, and then fell asleep for the next eight hours. Since then, I've taken her across country a half a dozen times, and on 6 hour car drives countless times, and she just sleeps it away.
Some cats do ge carsick though. I don't know if a sedative will make any difference with that. -
