Halloween is just around the corner and I just want to remind everyone to keep their little witchy kitties indoors. There are a lot of creepy people out there who would love to do nothing more than torture the poor things. My cat is a part of my family and I'm doing all that I can to keep him safe this month and the better part of next month.

Re: It's Halloween, do you know where your cat is?
Sat, October 28, 2006 - 10:50 AMI've heard that it's just urban myth that people harm black kitties around halloween-- I still kept Luna inside, though!
Anyone heard of actual incidents around their towns? (NOT looking for gory details, just wondering if this is something that really happens or not!) -

Re: It's Halloween, do you know where your cat is?
Sat, October 28, 2006 - 5:05 PMWhen I was a teenager one of our black cats turned up shivering under the spa to keep warm after surviving a beating from some locals fuckwits that left him with a broken pelvis and a lifelong fear of humans. It was a couple days after Halloween. Keep your black kitties inside. -

Re: It's Halloween, do you know where your cat is?
Sat, October 28, 2006 - 6:51 PMIt breaks my heart to think of anyone abusing a poor animal! Yes, keep your dear kitties indoors. All mine are indoor cats anyway--the black one, the white one, the two tabbies. I love them to distraction and I would never want anything bad to happen to my babies, ever! -

Sun, October 29, 2006 - 9:34 AMSorry 'bout your kitty, Polly. I was really wanting to believe that that kind of crap wasn't happening.
OK I'm keeping my B&W devil cat inside for a few days too.
Happy Halloween, everyone!
