OK, the most obvious thread to start off with is favorite Myrna Loy films.
Outside of the Thin Man series, some of my favorites lately have been Thirteen Women, Mask of Fu Manchu, and Wife Vs. Secretary (thank you TCM!). Thirteen Women is short but sweet, in my opinion the Basic Instinct of the time period. Myrna is drop-dead gorgeous in this film, as well as seductively dangerous, just like Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct. Really worth a look if you can find it. Although Myrna's Asian persona didn't do much for me in Mask of Fu Manchu, I love the dancing sequence as well as her vixenish character. And she outshines the blonde-of-the-day (Jean Harlowe) in Wife Vs. Secretary without even trying. I've only seen about 1/5 of Myrna's 130 or so movies, so I'm discovering new favorites all the time.
