For being the "Home of Rock and Roll", Cleveland could get some better radio stations. You would think they would have the best...
Also, how many of you have actually gone to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently. (or at all) When my non-clevelander friends ask whats so good about Cleveland, I always mention the Rock Hall. (although I haven't been there since its opening)
What do YOU guys think are the things that make Cleveland rock?

Re: Home of Rock And Roll
Fri, August 13, 2004 - 4:52 PMThere is Lanigan & Malone, but that is the only decent radio station I know of outside NPR and 104.9 (classical music station). No heavy metal station in Cleveland that I know of, which sucks. 98.5 and stations like that play all the same stuff, over and over until you end up getting sick of it. And when the hell are they going to play some Iron Maiden on any of the stations?!?
I have been inside the Rock Hall exactly once, and that was some years ago. I don't go because with no induction ceremonies in Cleveland there seems little point.
What make Cleveland rock?
the Tribe (hehehe)
the Museum of Art, Natural History Museum and Health Museum
Fat Fish Blue (Blues place Downtown across from Tower City)
the Flats
Playhouse Square
Cinematheque
Cedar Lee (okay, technically in the Hts, but so what? It rocks)
Der Braumeister (on Lorain/W. 131, German deli, bar & restaurant)
Great Lakes Science Center
Lake Erie/Edgewater Park
Those are the ones off the top of my head. -
