Hello, My name is Elizabeth and I'm new but I thought I'd ask a few questions...
The first being, what is your favorite scent and why??
I personally like lavender, followed closely by rose and jasmine. Great for relaxation and clearing a room of any heavy or bad karma.

Re: your favorites?
Tue, May 18, 2004 - 5:58 AMThats a hard one especialy since there are so many. When Im making a lotion or soap Im thinkin about the overall effect and benificial qualities. So for me it's the sum of the whole alot of the time. NOw for rituals thats a little different, I prefer musky scents.

Re: your favorites?
Sun, April 1, 2007 - 2:28 PMFor a relaxing blend, I love the combination of lavender and tangerine. Smells so good. Neroli, clary sage, geranium, grapefruit, rose . . . are all good too. I have been really into mixing different oils together for an original blend. My whole family got handmade aromatherapy products for Christmas. I had more fun making all the products. Sit back and breathe in the scents. Ahhhhh. -

Re: your favorites?
Sun, June 17, 2007 - 4:57 AMThere are so many different oils and each have their own scent and healing abilities.
If i was to choose just a few for their scents, it would be:
Rose,
Vanilla,
Geranium,
Palmarosa,
Vetivert,
Neroli.
If i was to choose just a few for their properties, it would be:
Lavender,
Bergamot,
Rose,
Sandalwood,
Frankincense,
Neroli,
Rosewood,
Petitgrain,
Vetivert.
I have found Lavender and Bergamot to be the most versatile by far, they both blend well with many oils and smell great, plus their specific benefits are second to none.
