currently listening to what may be the saddest Johnny Thunders album i have. it's titled "Have Faith", and recorded live in Seinen Kan, Japan 1988, three years before his death.
but that's not the sad part...
the sad part is this:
it's the only live Johnny i have (so far... aside from the Heartbreakers) where he's straight... and he's actually playing. it's the Johnny with the strength of having gotten past the heroin, if at least for awhile...
too much too soon? or too little too late? either way, it's a performance that most deserves a place in the Thunders legacy...
