hey there, folks -

We had a great time dancing with Adamah at Barefoot Boogie on April 11, after some sweet opening exercises with Matthew and Terces. (Adamah deejayed again on April 18 but I couldn't make it to that one so I can't give a personal report.)

I'll be deejaying on April 25, for the free Boogie as part of National Dance Week, co-sponsored by the Northern California Dance Collective. Folks from the Summer Dance Camp organizing group will be there to talk about the magic of summer camp, for those who'd like to learn about it. (ncdcdances.org)

And we've also decided to offer a special rate to Boogie for Cafe Gratitude staff -- $5 all the time, not just your first time. In case you don't know about Boogie, it's a smoke-free, drug-free, alcohol-free, freestyle dance party -- a great alternative to the club scene. We play a wide variety of fun and deep music and it's a friendly, positive, creative community space.

Wednesday Boogie happens in SF at City Dance Studio, 32 Otis Street (entrance up Brady onto Colton) and Sunday Berkeley is at 2525 8th Street, at Dwight. Check sfbarefootboogie.com for all the details.

We hope to see you there!

be well -
