Just figured I'd ask the general community if there were any requests for what classes get taught this year - either specific types of rope bondage or other BDSM classes. We have 4-8 possible instructors this year, with an average of about 6 years of rope experience and 10 years in the scene each, so there's not many rope or BDSM subjects we couldn't teach if there was enough demand.
Our plan is to have about 10-12 classes this year, mainly at 10am, 3pm, and 5pm each day.

I was going to ask people in camp if they'd be prepared to help/observe my first attempt at this, given that I'd appreciate having help and advice on hand. Not sure if you'd want to make this part of an open class or whether I can just talk it over with you when I'm there.
I'll be bringing the lovely antelope along to become a human swing, as she enjoyed her first go so much in the camp last year.

Fri, July 28, 2006 - 11:13 AMI'm not sure we will have any play equipment that can handle suspension this year. Actually, other than my own double cross and spanking bench, I'm not totally sure what other equipment is coming, but it doesn't look like the A frame for suspensions that was there last year will be back.
If anybody out there has suggestions on how to make a sturdy frame that would work on the playa without too much work, I'd love to hear it. -

3 10 foot sections work well. You have to lash the top and then spread out the legs to make a tripod. I am not sure I will be able to transport my bamboo, but you can buy it cheap enough at the bamboo depot in Bencia.

which will be 11' high at the center, and about 12' across. This will be our playa home. I'm told it is easily strong enough to hang from and might make a suitable venue for a small class on suspension, probably half a dozen people or so. Once we're all set up I'll come over and we can see if that might work. Wouldn't be able to make it part of the play space but for a few small groups or just amongst the camp people it might work.
We're over at 8:00 and chance, on the roadside.

With the spanking bench (by the way, I can lend the camp another one of my own), a demo on paddling, caning and of course spanking could be in order. How about rope bondage combined with bastinado? -
