Motumba e Axe,
I can't help dancing even though I'm on the computer. I'm listening to Jorge Benjor's trinity of songs, Taj Mahal, Filho Marivilla, and Pais Tropical. Think of my music collection, there are a lot of samba and bossanova songs with orixa themes. My favorite is Deusa de Os Orixas, which I always sang with Mae Isabel d'Iansa when she was alive. Iansa ca de Ogu,? Voy pro mar, mais Iansa ca de Ogum?.. voy pro mar. I thought I'd post this, if anyone wanted to share any Brazilian popular music songs that are associated with the orixas. Idowu, maybe we can have one meeting at Sounds of Brazil and have samba lessons, lol.
Ase,
Dominick
